consider actors, genre, setting, marketing, distribution etc.

Local: it uses well known British actors and set within England and advertised in English papers and adverts 

Global: set in globally well known places such as London, also connected to an America broadcaster so shown in America

consider how humans evokes an uncomfortable or shocked response...

it puts the audience in a direct mode of address looking straight into the eyes of Niska during the rape scene, close up of features to highlight emotions
