the advert is in relation to a valentines day event, using the lexis 'say it' to reference and expression of love. the use of serif font father anchors the feminine themes of the product along with the stereotypical pink and purple colour scheme.

the lexis silk refers to the texture of the chocolate, comparing its smooth texture with the material, that connotes luxury and expense. this reflects the perceived luxury of the chocolate that the producers which to sell the product as. 

'limited edition'- lexis entices the audience, more likely to buy something if they feel they wont have the chance again. 

simplistic background directs audiences attention on the product, using symmetry to make it the focus.
